Improved Moth Flame Optimization Approach for Parameter Estimation of Induction Motor

The effective deployment of electrical energy has received attention because its environmental implications. On the other hand, induction motors are primary equipment used in many industries. Industrial facilities demand maximum percentage energy. This is determined by operating circumstances imposed internal characteristics motor. Because parameters an motor not immediately measurable, they must be obtained through identification process. paper proposed improved version moth flame optimization (IMFO) for efficient parameter estimation motors. A steady-state equivalent circuit employed simulation. technique handles problem better than (MFO), particle swarm (PSO), flower pollination algorithm (FPA), tunicate (TSA), and sine cosine (SCA). anticipated IMFO reduces cost function 49.38% as compared with basic MFO.
